Omega Recycling Solutions was founded on the belief that together we can impact the environment and society for the better.

Environment

Omega’s team is trained and follows strict procedures to maximize positive environmental impacts by reusing working equipment and recycling end-of-life equipment in order to recover the materials. Reuse is the highest form of recycling, and Omega’s 3rd party certified processes meet or exceed best practices for testing, repair, refurbishment and remarketing to extend the life of IT equipment. Omega pushes the envelope of sustainability every day by maximizing reuse and recovering residual materials, playing a key role in the circular economy to eliminate landfill waste and ensure that all materials achieve their highest use, including the many critical minerals found in IT equipment.

Social

Omega has established programs for its employees and their families to keep them safe and provide health and wellness initiatives. In addition, Omega has an ongoing initiative called “Technology for Tennessee” that provides customized IT solutions for local educational systems and non-profit/faith-based organizations by offering refurbished electronics at below-market prices. Omega Recycling Solutions is committed to assisting groups working with tight budgets who struggle to afford tech upgrades. By partnering with Omega, Tennessee businesses are helping to contribute to the success of their local organizations. Omega also offers donation as an option for its clients.

Governance

Omega has policies to ensure equal opportunity employment and diversity in its hiring processes. Since its founding, Omega has been a woman-owned small business. Omega’s management systems and external advisors ensure that strategic decisions consider both internal and external stakeholders. By the nature of its service, Omega also assists its clients with governance through certified data security and sanitization to mitigate compliance risks to their businesses and customers. Omega voluntarily submits to annual independent 3rd party audits of its business practices and operational processes to ensure it maintains best practices in product and process quality, environmental practices, worker health and safety, worker representation, data security, reuse of IT equipment and proper recycling procedures.
